Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of PDFly (pdfbencher.com), operated by Regulad Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

PDFly provides free online tools to merge, split, compress, convert, edit and protect PDF and other document files. No account is required. Some tools run in your browser; others process files on our servers, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. Your files

  • You keep all rights to the files you upload and the results you download. We claim no ownership of them.
  • You give us a limited permission to store and process each file only for as long as needed to perform the tool you chose. Files and results are deleted automatically two hours after the job.
  • You confirm that you own the files you upload or are otherwise allowed to process them, including any personal data they contain.
  • Keep a copy of your originals. Because files are deleted automatically, we cannot recover a file or result after it has expired.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use PDFly to:

  • process content that is illegal, or that infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark or privacy;
  • remove passwords or protection from documents you are not authorised to open;
  • upload malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to our systems;
  • use automated scripts to send jobs in bulk, or resell or re-host the service, without our written permission;
  • render, via HTML to PDF, pages you are not permitted to access or copy.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

4. Advertising

The site is funded by ads served by Google and other vendors. You agree not to click ads other than out of genuine interest, not to use any automated means or incentive to generate ad impressions or clicks, and not to alter or hide ads in a way meant to mislead advertisers. We do not endorse advertised products and are not responsible for websites reached through an ad.

5. Plans

The tools described on this site are free to use within the limits shown on the pricing page. If we offer paid plans, their price and terms will be shown to you before you pay.

6. Availability

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we may change, suspend or withdraw any tool at any time, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that a conversion will preserve every element of a document, or that the service is fit for a particular purpose. Check important results before relying on them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Regulad Co., Ltd. is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Intellectual property

The PDFly name, website design and software belong to us. You may not copy them except as allowed by law.

10. Copyright complaints

If you believe the service is being used to infringe your rights, email support@regulad.com with details. Because files are deleted within hours, include as much information as you can.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Hanoi, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
